“When I stepped into Natural Masters @ New Beginnings, i was met with a warm reception. There was an orderly and structured intake of clients. It was clean and warm vibes all around. The earthy tones and tranquil feel throughout definitely enhance the natural aesthetics. Upon arrival, I was asked to wash my hands and head to the upstairs cafe to await my consult. I wasn't expecting an actual cafe but I was served a hot cup of tea once there. Sweetened with cinnamon and pineapple, not sugar. There were juices and light fare served amidst a variety of comfortable seating...a legit cafe. All a nice touch for the ambience! The consult was informative with a good balance of listening and advisement from my consultant, Tali. I appreciated that. I agreed to the suggested services: treatment, cut and twist, which totaled significantly more than I expected. While pricey, I haven't done my hair professionally in years and will probably only retuen on a seasonal basis rather than weekly so I call it an investment (depending on the outcomes). I loved that as I got my hair washed, I was asked if I was tender-headed, before the more vigorous scrubbing began. She also asked if anywhere on my head was itching before completing the second lather of shampoo. Not many hair washers even check. This was thorough and intentional. Loved that! Tali also assessed the porosity of my hair while I was at the basin and shared/ explained the implications her findings. I got a quick but much needed trim/shape by Pauline who gave some great suggestions for maintaining the health of my hair. She was very knowledgeable. Although she made recommendations for products made and sold in house, it didn't come off as her just wanting me to spend more money. I anticipated being in the salon much longer but Tali was quick with my two strand twists, which looked so great and most importantly, HEALTHY by the time I was ready to leave. I left there with products I can't wait to try and a healthy looking protective style. I'm looking forward to returning for a cut and color in the future. I'm confident they'll take good care of my hair and leave me looking fabulous. I'm so sausfied and glad I finally made it in. Thank you, Natural Masters!!!”
